are you required to kill 40 Yeti, then go bk and kill 40 Greater Yeti, then go bk and kill 40 Alpha Yeti, then finally kill the Yeti Lord with a raid group?
One thing that hasome to mind has been gear: what are the quest rewards like so far? We all know that Blizzard has wanted to slim down their itemization, so is this the end of spell damage (power) plate for Paly tanks? Or are there still leveling pies with these attributes on them? I saw some of the new blksmithing items on wotlkwiki, tually I think they were linked in another thread, and they are all loaded with strength, stamina, and defense. Justurious if this is basally the norm now.
I havn'tome ross lots of gear that islearly an upgrade. Mind you, it would have to reple the best of what was available in T so everyone's mileage may vary on that one and Im sure the rewards get better as you go.. that said: Among the initial quest rewards, it'slear that Paladins are still going to behoosing their plate on similar itemization standards as in T. There are LOTS of pies with raw Spell Power on them. I don't want to say that it's extly the same though sie many of the pies have large amounts of Strength and Stamina as well as Spell Power. Now.. Strength and Spell Damage in T wouldn't make mh sense but the itemization works better now. So far, from the limited bit that I've seen it appears that the generalization of gear was more a move so that no oneould cuse Blizzard of itemizing retardedombinations that have no value by making EVERY stat of some value. I'mertain that as we get further we'll start seeing that pies bome more gener. I've also noted that there are a few early quest rewards that have Spell Power, rit Rating, and Stamina (plate) on them. By T mentality a strange-ishombination (for PvE gear at least) but I'm just not sure yet how it'll fair for Paladins.. Death Knights are another story. I havn't been able to justify any other weapon either. My Tempest ofhaos looks more appetizing than anything I've seen so far. By the old mentality, audgel ofonsration looks more appetizing than anything I've seen. I havn't taken the time to REALLY look into the mhanshanges (I don't plan onoerning myself with that until either they unlk 80 or the expansion goes live) so Ian't say if there really is any value in early quest reward greens. As far as how fast gear bomes obsolete. I'd say if you have dent beginner's eps (ilvl 110-115ish) the first few quest rewards will be of debatable value.. at least until we work out how the mhans have reallyhanged. I'll try to find some links for some of the gear. EDIT: Found a ne page @ wowhead that was pretty ne for early upgrades, but with the buildshanging all the time I'm not sure how long this info will stay good. wotlk.wowheadom?quests=10.3537
